what would you be most upset about people thinking about you and why
What would upset me the most was if people thought I was selfish. Maybe its my own guilt/insecurity makes me wonder this at times, but I'd really hate for it to be true. I like to see myself as a giving and helpful person, but if other saw it as something else, it would upset me. I do, do things for myself, sometimes before others, but I feel that if you don't sometimes, you miss out and others can take advantage. Now that has happened to me a lot over the years, but as I get older, I have realised this and am not going to be a doormat for anyone. So I don't really see this as being selfish if others did.
how did your family celebrate the holidays when you were young
Christmas time was always a big family get together for both sides of the family. The Cornthwaite's was always a big occasion with Dad's sisters and the their family's and Uncle Scott and his. We always has a Santa too. The big question for us kids was to guess who it was that year first!
Auntie Wendy's was a great food extravaganza as usual dinner things were with her, endless nibbles and quite often not getting to eat the main meal until very late and dessert was invariably after midnight! I remember one year my cousins tricked me into green olives saying they were nicer than the black ones, oh no, they weren't!! However, I do like olives now. I also remember at their house reading the boys Tin Tin and Astrix books in french (well, pretending that I could!)
